Our capital has tremendous potential and I have been working hard to see this potential realised, “says David. “ The value of this project for tourism is tremendous. The improvement of the historic sites in St. George’s and the creation of an additional cruise ship jetty will make Grenada one of the most competitive cruise and tourism destinations in the region. We expect that with this development we can attract at least 100 cruise ships which will mean well over 300 thousand more tourists.”

Commenting on the project Zublin CEO Hendrick Van Dijk said that his company was pleased to be partnering with Government. “The Government came to us requesting that we come up with ideas. We have consolidated our ideas in a plan and have come back to Government with the St. George’s Renaissance Project.
